Métiers d’Art Tribute to the Quest of Time

A 270th anniversary watch where a small figure points to the hours with its arms.

Vacheron Constantin made this patented watch for its 270th anniversary. A figure with titanium arms, set in front of a celestial dial, shows the hours, using a double retrograde display.

A push-button at 10 o’clock switches between two modes. In one the hour is indicated continuously, and in the other the arms rest alongside the body.

A six-day power-reserve display and a hand-engraved 3D moon sit on the dial. The case is 18K white gold, 43 mm across and 13.58 mm thick.
