RM 17-02 Tourbillon
Calibre RM17-02 · Manual winding
Les Breuleux, founded 1999
26 current models across tourbillon, chronograph and automatic calibres.
Richard Mille founded the brand in 1999 and showed its first watch, the RM 001 Tourbillon, in 2001. The watches are made in Les Breuleux, in the Swiss Jura.
The brand uses titanium, ceramics and layered composites such as Carbon TPT to keep weight down. Most movements have grade 5 titanium baseplates and are open-worked, so the mechanism is visible from the front.
