Nautilus 5811/1G

The Nautilus in white gold, with a blue dial that darkens to black at the edge.

Gérald Genta designed the Nautilus in 1976. The case is shaped like a ship’s porthole, with a hinge-like “ear” on each side, and the dial has horizontal embossed ridges.

Reference 5811/1G replaced the steel 5711 in 2022. It is made in 18K white gold, case and bracelet, and measures 41 mm from 10 to 4 o’clock.

The bracelet has Patek Philippe’s patented fold-over clasp with a small adjustment system for fine sizing.
