Day-Date 40

The day of the week, spelled out in full. Made only in gold or platinum.

The Day-Date was introduced in 1956. It was the first wristwatch to show the day of the week written out in full, in a window at 12 o’clock.

Rolex has only ever made it in 18 ct gold or platinum. The three-piece-link President bracelet was designed for it.
