Explorer II
A 42 mm steel Explorer II with a fixed 24-hour bezel and an orange hand.
The Explorer II was introduced in 1971 for cave explorers and polar scientists, who could not tell day from night. The 24-hour hand points to a fixed bezel.
The dial on this reference is white. The orange hand shows the second time zone, or whether it is day or night.
Calibre 3285 lets the local hour be set independently of the 24-hour hand.
