Chronograph 5172G

A hand-wound chronograph with a blue dial, tachymeter scale and vintage-style case.

The 5172G is Patek Philippe’s classic manual-winding chronograph. The case has stepped lugs, guilloched pushers and a domed “box” sapphire crystal.

The 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock jumps instantly from one minute to the next. Small seconds are at 9 o’clock, and a tachymeter scale runs around the edge of the blue dial.

The movement is calibre CH 29-535 PS, with a power reserve of at least 65 hours when the chronograph is not running.
